Conductive Fabric – Luxe & Versatile

This soft, stretchy knitted silver conductive fabric is a game-changer for wearables and soft circuits! Made from 100% real silver fibers, it offers exceptional conductivity (below 1Ω per foot) and flexibility, making it perfect for touch-sensitive gloves, soft keypads, capacitive touch sensors, and squeeze switches.

Product Details:

  • Size: Approx. 24×24 cm (hand-cut, slight variations may occur)
  • Material: 100% Silver Fiber
  • Type: Knitted, breathable & flexible
  • Conductivity: Surface resistance below 1 ohm
  • Shielding: RF & LF Electromagnetic fields (3MHz – 35GHz, 65-95dB damping)
  • Color: Silver

Iron on medium if necessary, steam ok. When I ironed it I just lightly ran an iron over a small corner to test. Test it first to be sure your temperature is ok. Then only press and lift, don’t leave the heat on for too long. Discoloration can occur over time.

Use small pieces on the tips of gloves or in any soft circuit situation where you need a bit of stretch. This highly conductive fabric has a resistance of less than 1 ohm per foot in any direction across the textile.

💡 Care Instructions: Hand wash in cold distilled or deionized water to maintain conductivity. Avoid poor water quality (sulfur, fluoride, or low pH can degrade silver). Iron on medium heat if necessary—light press onlyDiscolouration over time is normal and does not affect performance.

Please note that these are all approximate sizes. These are all cut by hand and there will be some discrepancies.

** Poor water quality will damage Silver. In particular Sulphur, high Fluoride, and low
pH will react strongly with Silver and destroy conductivity and shielding performance.

Always test your tap water on a small fabric swatch before washing your fabric or garment:
1- soak a small fabric swatch in tap water for 1 hour.
2- look for a color change in the water or swatch, blackening of water is a typical sign.
3- air dry the swatch and check for conductivity (by touching an Ohm meter to 2 points on the fabric)
If color change or loss of conductivity occurs, DO NOT use tap water to wash/rinse your fabric, use distilled or deionized, reverse osmosis water. Washing will eventually degrade Silver coating and shielding performance. Discoloration over time is normal.
